Orange

is one of Pakistan's most popular fruits, and the country is an important producer and exporter. The most famous variety is Kinno, a mandarin orange known primarily in Sargoda, Punjab's "Citrus Capital of Pakistan." 

Pakistani orange variety 

1. Kinnow - the most common variety, known for its juices and high yields.

 

2. Musambi (sweet orange) - Spicy and sweet, often used in juices.

3. Orange red pulp with a prominent taste. 

4. Fruiter Orange - Similar to Musambi but slightly tanger. 

Pakistan's orange season 

Orange harvest times begin in November and continue until March, with the highest availability in December and January. 

Pakistan is one of the 10 citrus producers around the world, exporting oranges to countries such as Russia, VAE, Indonesia and Europe. The citrus industry is making a major contribution to Pakistan's economy.
